Hey everyone! I'm excited to share some details about my ongoing project – modding my black 2017 Ford Focus RS. This car was already a beast out of the box, but I've been gradually adding some personal touches to enhance its performance and style. Here's a rundown of the modifications I've made so far:

Performance Enhancements:

COBB Air Scoop: This scoop helps to funnel more cold air into the intake, improving engine performance.
COBB Sound Supressor: Reduces unwanted noise from the intake while maintaining optimal airflow.
COBB Cold Air Intake Filter: Allows for better airflow and filtration compared to the stock filter, resulting in a slight horsepower boost.
COBB Rear Engine Mount: Minimizes engine movement during hard acceleration and cornering, improving stability and responsiveness.
COBB Stage 1 Shift Kit: Provides quicker, more precise shifts for a sportier driving experience.
Turbosmart Blow Off Valve Kompact Shortie Dual Port: Gives that satisfying "whoosh" sound while improving boost response.
Turbosmart Wastegate: Offers better boost control and improved turbo performance.
NGK Spark Plugs: Higher performance spark plugs that can handle increased boost and improve combustion efficiency.

Exterior Mods:

Self Leveling Center Caps (65mm): These caps ensure that the Ford logo remains level even when the wheels are turning, adding a touch of class. They are also backlit with a cool white light
Ford Focus RS on Black ABS Plastic License Plate Frame Screw Covers: Small detail, but it cleans up the look of the license plate area.

Interior Upgrades:

Carbon Fiber Shift Knob: Adds a sporty and stylish feel to the interior.
Undertray: Provides a smooth underbody for improved aerodynamics.

Winter Ready:

Pirelli Sottozero 3 Winter Tires: Ensures optimal grip and safety during the colder months.

Tech:

REXING Dashcam: Provides peace of mind and a record of any incidents on the road.

Future Plans:

I'm always looking for ways to improve my Focus RS. Some future modifications I'm considering include:

Intercooler Upgrade: To further improve cooling efficiency and potentially allow for more boost.
Exhaust System: A new exhaust system could enhance the sound and performance of the car.
Suspension Upgrades: Stiffer springs and sway bars could further improve handling.
