High-Altitude Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies are specifically adapted for higher altitudes, so expect perfect peanut butter cookies even if you're baking in the mountains!

  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). This is crucial for high altitude baking!

  2. Cream together sugars and butter: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

  8. Bake: Bake for 11-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

  9. Rest: Let the cookies stand on the baking sheet for an additional 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
